Seabren joins The Rock Academy

 My video:

Hi there! I'm Seabren Struijcken. For over a decade now, I’ve been playing guitar and growing it as my passion. I love playing every nuance of acoustic fingerstyle and delving into the rhythmic intricacies of percussive fingerstyle. And let's not forget the electrifying world of the electric guitar, where I've found a whole new realm of sonic expression.

Over the last 2 years, I added another dimension to my musical journey with the piano.

I’m currently in my second year of Bachelor of Music at Victoria University of Wellington majoring in composition, specialising in film scoring.

I'm drawn to a diverse range of musical genres, finding inspiration in the infectious beats of pop, the raw energy of rock, the timeless beauty of classical compositions, and the spontaneous creativity of jazz.

Yet, my passion extends beyond personal enjoyment. As a music tutor, I aspire to cultivate a nurturing environment where students can flourish and grow. I believe that learning should be more than just a series of lessons—it should be an immersive and joyful experience, where students are encouraged to explore their interests and passions.

That's why I'm dedicated to creating a safe and comfortable space for students to learn and progress, where their individuality is celebrated and their voices are heard. I'm here to listen, to understand what inspires each student, and to guide them on their journey to falling deeper in love with the magical world of music.

So, whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to refine your skills, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
