School holiday programme busking

When it comes to musical fun it doesn’t get much better than busking. The Rock Academy school holiday programme is great for kids who want to gain confidence through performance. The kids activities during the week include:

Daily Busking Trips – Pupils keep the money, highly motivating and great for their confidence. Group Jam Sessions Acoustic – Learning lots of new modern pop and rock songs.

The Rock Academy’s Got Talent – Pupils learn how to audition, introduce themselves, hold eye contact and perform a piece to take out the TRA trophy. Singing Lessons/Exercises – Singing exercise and scales every morning.

Technique Up Skill Sessions – Learning new riffs, licks, chords, tricks and techniques.

Industry Work Shops – Learning what it means to be a successful musician however ambitious or not. Solo and Group Song Writing Sessions – Pupils are asked to write their own songs over the three days.

The Rock Academy is running two holiday programmes over the summer period. At the end of December and at the end of January.
