Insomnia…Is music a calming force…guitar lessons

Writer's picture: Geoff DayGeoff Day

Of course music is a calming force, being an intermittent insomnia sufferer I can attest to the statement. If I can’t sleep, sometimes all it takes is ten minutes  strumming a few chords and my eye lids feel the weight of an elephant. Learning an instrument and getting music lessons is fun and can be a great sleeping pill. Guitar lessons, singing lessons, piano lessons and even drum lessons all fit in the same basket. Although playing drums at three in the morning to get back to sleep may pass your sleeping problems onto the rest of the house hold.
