8 years ago boys out numbered girls at our school holiday programmes 9 to 1. That is not the case any more. A year ago there were more girls at our school holiday programme than boys.
The same statistics ran through our drum class at Seatoun School. Last year there were 3 girls and 1 boy learning drums. Music education is important for boys and girls alike.
