Our music lessons are a great mix of fun and structure. We use fantastic lesson plans and music books for all the instruments/vocals that we teach.
Our band school is a must for any young musician who likes to socialize, write songs, record (at our studio) and perform to live audiences.
If you're looking for a fun holiday programme that incorporates music, creativity and performance then we can help. We take our pupils busking every day and run fun music workshops that inspire and advance the pupils at all levels. The 4 square and table tennis are also a big hit.

Locations
Our mobile music lessons cover the greater Wellington area including Seatoun, Lyall Bay, Island Bay, Brooklyn, Hataitai, Te Aro, Karori, Wilton, Johnsonville, Churton Park, Tawa, Porirua, Lower Hutt and Petone.
Our school holiday programmes are located at Evans Bay Intermediate School,14a Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington. Covering all school breaks, including the week before Christmas and
at the end of January.
The Rock Academy Band School is located on Leftbank Cuba Street, Wellington.
Our Music Teachers
Our music teachers are young dynamic musicians who are studying music or have studied music in the past. They are passionate about teaching and are nice, personable and relate to their pupils on a personal and professional level.
The level of muscial expertease the teachers bring to our music school is quite amazing. Many of our music teachers play multiple instruments and have a maturity with their playing that is unique to their generation.
A free trial lesson is a great way to meet your next music teacher and see how they connect with you and/or your child.
Student Recording
We absolutely love working with our young students to help them develop their musical talents! One of the most exciting aspects of this process is recording their music, as it's a fun and engaging way to help them hone their skills. We are particularly passionate about helping our students create their own original songs, as this allows them to express their unique ideas and creativity in a way that's truly their own. And when it comes to sharing their music with friends and family, nothing beats the thrill of uploading their tracks to popular apps like SoundCloud, Spotify, and YouTube. It's a fantastic way to let the world hear what our students have accomplished, and to showcase their growing skills and confidence as budding musicians.
Beginner Lessons
Our beginner lessons are a perfect mix of fun and structure. We want to make sure that our pupils associate fun with their lessons and their instrument/voice at the beginning. Our music books are filled with fun songs and melodies that are super easy to play but familiar to most pupils. We also have unique exercises that are easy but speed up the learning curve substantially.
Adult Lessons
We love teaching adults and taylor the lesson to your requirements. If you're a beginner we can take you through our beginner programme and you'll be amazed at how fast you are playing/singing songs, melodies and enjoying your experience.
Advanced Lessons
We have music teachers that specilize in a wide variety of genres. From rock and blues to jazz and classical. If we have a teacher on our books that can progress you in the dirrection you are heading then we would love to help you on your musical journey.
Student Concerts
Are you ready for an unforgettable experience? At our school, we know that music is more than just a subject, it's a passion! We organize student concerts every second term, giving our young musicians a chance to showcase their talent in front of a live audience. Whether they perform solo, as a duo or with their music teacher, our young performers bring their A-game and electrify the crowd. We love seeing our pupils gain confidence and self-assurance as they take the stage and share their passion for music with others. And parents are always blown away by their children's performances, applauding wildly and beaming with pride. Whether you're a musician or just a music lover, our student concerts are a can't-miss event that's sure to leave you feeling inspired and uplifted.
